Reflecting Haas-house front in Vienna, Austria

Mirror, mirror on the wall
Impressive reflections everywhere

“Mirror, mirror on the wall…” – What you see in a reflection is mostly always so much more interesting, than what you see looking directly at the mirroring subject. Changing the angle of your point of view and playing with the reflecting light can bring out very fascinating impressions. We are so used to expect reflections in mirrors, glass windows and doors that we won't look anywhere else for it. And that is a mistake! Reflections are everywhere, waiting to be discovered. Water is a great source for mirroring objects, a puddle for example. Metal is another one, polished chrome on cars or motorcycles. Based on the shape of the reflector the reflection becomes distorted. Great stuff for a creative photographer. Using the right angle and great light these reflections become true art pieces. Looking for reflections makes also a rainy day appreciated, just saying.
